'Earliest collaborations between Rudolf Eb.er (then RUNZELSTIRN & GURGELSTØCK) and Maso Yamazaki (then MASONNA) were released in 1995 on the Swiss label SCHIMPFLUCH. Further collaborations of the two followed in 1996, as well as the legendary Tokyo 1997 live action as a duo under the moniker EB.ERSONNA.
25 years later, a far darker and deeply evil side of both was showcased on the chilling CONTROLLED DEATH / RUDOLF EB.ER split LP “Death Ceremonies”, released by UK label COLD SPRING.
“Serenità per i morti viventi” by RUDOLF EB.ER + CONTROLLED DEATH combines Rudolf’s obscure and maggot-eaten corpse meditations and Maso’s terrifying death ambient rituals.
The sleeve artwork of “Serenità per i morti viventi” comes exclusively from the true pioneer of Japan Noise, the one and only Jun Konagaya (GRIM, WHITE HOSPITAL).'
